Happy new year folks! I hope you’re doing well thus far in 2021. I wanted to take a moment to provide a small update on my debut novel as well as some other projects that I am working on.
The Condemned
The publisher and I have officially signed off on the page design of the book and we are moving into the cover design phase. Once that is done the book will go into production. I don’t have a release date yet, but I am hopeful for March 2021. More to come on that soon.
Side Projects
I am continuing to character development for my haunted house story, House of Grim (working title). I rewrote chapters 1 & 2, which I am pleased with, but I am going to review chapter 1 based on some feedback Dana gave me.
Dana also introduced me to a podcast called, ‘The Grey Rooms’ and they are taking submissions for their show. I came up with three possible ideas and there is one that I fee the strongest about, so I have been doing a lot of research on poisons and have been developing characters, of which I have three thus far. Once it’s done I will submit it to the show and we will see if they like it.
I also found an anthology that is being collected her in Florida of authors based in Florida. They are looking for short stories, so I may submit to that if I can decide on one to submit that I think is strong enough.
Lastly, I have a screenplay that I am writing with my friend Mike back in NJ and I completed the character development for the main character. I have to complete a few more characters and then I can start writing that one, but the podcast and anthology take priority over this one.
