I hope that you’re all doing well and enjoying your weekend. I have some exciting news to share with you all!
The Condemned:
I’m super happy to report that I have signed off on the final design of the book and I should have copies in my hands in about three weeks. It will be in stores sometime in June, exact date to be determined. You will be able to get it Barnes and Noble, Books-a-Million, Amazon in both physical and digital forms as well as iTunes and Google Play. The book will be available in hard cover and paperback options.

Other Projects:
I am waiting for two (2) other projects to come through. The first is with WND Press and an anthology they are putting together. It is a collection of short stories from Florida based authors. I submitted my short story (~22,000 words) and so far the feedback has been very good. I’m awaiting a formal email letting me know if it has been selected. Fingers crossed 🤞
Next up, I am also waiting on an email from The Grey Rooms Podcast on my submission for Season 4 of their podcast. I am not sure when they will email everyone, but hopefully that sometime this month. Fingers crossed again please 🤞
I have also been asked to write an album review for a band I reviewed in the past, Empty Files from Spain. Back when I used to run my blog / podcast, Audio Disclosure, I wrote a review for them, which they loved. Now they knew I stopped the project, but they told me they didn’t care. They wanted me to write one anyway. So I have and, I am hoping that one of the following places gets back to me as I asked them if they would be interested in publishing it:
- The Associated Press
- The AV Club
- Consequence of Sound
- The Guardian
- Pitchfork
- Stereogum
I really hope one of them gets back to me and likes what I wrote. I showed it to the band already and they likely loved it and told me it was like I got into their heads. I couldn’t ask for a better response. If none of the above are interested, I plan to post it myself, but I am hoping one does so I can help them get more exposure.
Next Up:
I have continued writing the third story in the short story, time trilogy and I have finished the first three scenes. I think it will have two or three more and then I can send it to my friend Mike for review and feedback.
I have another short story I want to write and then the next novel idea has two chapters, in first draft form, completed.
I’m super excited about what’s coming down the line and really hope the anthology and the podcast come through. Those would be great opportunities. so keep those fingers crossed 🤞 and I hope you all have a great day.
