NaNoWriMo 2021

Hey there everyone! How have you been? You look great.

I am happy to announce that for the first time, I am participating in National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo. The goal is to write 50,000 words by the end of the month. If you do that, you have successfully written a novel.

Well, I am happy to say that as of day 5 of #nanowrimo2021 is going great. Admittedly, I started out behind, but I knew I would catch up. I am supposed to write 1,667 words per day this month, which means that by the end of the 5th day, I should be at 8,334 words. I am happy to say that I am currently at 8,573 words.

The story that I decided to write for this year’s challenge is a very personal one about my family, life and relationships and honestly, I don’t know if I will ever share it. if I do, I may upset a lot of people for sharing very personal and private things. So I need to think very carefully about trying to publish or share this story. I call it, The Death of a Rose Tree and I am two chapters in. Perhaps it will see the light of day someday.

To those of you participating in this years NaNoWriMo, I hope your writing is going and continues to go well. I am aiming to achieve this goal of 50,000 words, but I worry that the story I tell won’t be that long. Time will tell. Until the next update take care.

I grew up in Green Brook, NJ and as of 2017 am living in Vero Beach, FL. I am an author of stories for both page and screen. Literally Jesse is a place where I can share what I have been up to both literally and literarily speaking. I am an avid reader of fiction with a love for horror, mysteries, science fiction & thrillers, but I don’t limit myself to those genres. I am a published author with my first novel, The Condemned, on sale now and is published by Fulton Books. I am very excited to share what I have been up to and what I am working on.
