NaNoWriMo 2021 – Day 15

We are officially halfway through November and I am happy to report that I am still ahead of schedule with this years #NaNoWriMo challenge. Today, I should be at 25,005 words and I am happy to report that I am at 25,614.

I have been maintaining an average of 600 words above where I am supposed to be. I still have a fair amount to tell in my Death of a Rose Tree story, so I think that I am going to make it to 50,000 words, but we will see. I can say that this story has gotten a lot deeper and more personal than I had anticipated. Regardless of what I end up using the story for, if anything, this has been a great way to challenge myself, not only to write this much, but also to try a different narration style and write non-fiction.

For those of reading this and participating in NaNoWriMo, I hope that you are having success with your challenge thus far. I’ll post another small update on day 20.
Until then, take care.

I grew up in Green Brook, NJ and as of 2017 am living in Vero Beach, FL. I am an author of stories for both page and screen. Literally Jesse is a place where I can share what I have been up to both literally and literarily speaking. I am an avid reader of fiction with a love for horror, mysteries, science fiction & thrillers, but I don’t limit myself to those genres. I am a published author with my first novel, The Condemned, on sale now and is published by Fulton Books. I am very excited to share what I have been up to and what I am working on.
